About Me

SLC, UT, United States
A short explanation of my art: I enjoy working with a variety of media. I have the most experience with watercolor and have dabbled in oils, charcoal, and gouache. I am fascinated by what makes things work. I enjoy working out in my mind the way things relate to each other visually. People fascinate me, and I try to capture things about people that are interesting. I try to portray people in a way that communicates that they are alive, because I think that is what makes people special. Those who are discovering, learning, experiencing, and enjoying the fruits of following a dream inspire me.

Front & Center

If anyone has seen Irish dance, it's amazing. I tried to capture some of what I see with the intricate dresses, bright stage lighting, etc. This pose represents soft-shoe, a graceful and quiet, yet light-looking dance style.

"I thought I Knew This Place"
The show opens October 18 with a reception from 6-9 PM, and it will run until November 16. The Palmers Gallery is located in the Salt Lake Design Center at 378 West Broadway (300 South) SLC.
